We’re looking forward to seeing you at HPA 2021! We are looking forward to showing you some of our technology and some of the developments. This year we are focusing on a couple of themes. They are all relating to the great changes that we’ve had in our work life. I’ve been talking to everyone all over the world and swapping stories. As you can see, I’m working from home right now. What we hope to show, to talk to you about is, as I said, two themes.

The first one is cinema pro audio processing for online delivery. As you know, the theaters have been closed and yet people want released content. And so we’ve been talking to a number of our customers and they say, “How do we take that theatrical mix and make it suitable for online presentation?” Now for a single one of those, it’s easy. You can go into your Pro Tools suite. But if you want to do a hundred or 200 of them, it gets more challenging. So find some time and we’ll tell you all about it.

The second topic is all about how do you do all this stuff when you’re working from home? We have an automated technology. That’s what we do for a living. And a lot of our customers are using that to allow these processes to occur, so that they can still continue to be creative and productive whilst having to work from home.

We have two breakfast roundtables at HPA – one for each of the themes. And we can do online demos, too. We’d love to engage with you one-on-one and so on and share with you. And really I’ll finish off by saying these are not things that we’ve invented in our homes. This is based on some real examples. We have had two platforms that came to us and said, “Hey, we have a real problem, trying to put lots of movies on the platform.” And we have successfully worked with our existing customers who needed to work from home, and they had to do scaling, doubling the capacity in a matter of days and so on. So we’d love to share our experiences with you and see f we can help you, too.
