After a successful NAB Show, we look ahead to our next trade show!

We are excited to announce that we will be attending The Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS), the UK’s premiere event for the media and entertainment industry. MPTS is an important show as it brings together much of the UK industry & Market under one roof, resulting in invaluable networking opportunities and product discovery.

After attending MPTS several times, this year we will finally be able to showcase our solutions firsthand via live demonstrations thanks to Big Pic Media, who will be hosting us on their stand. We are looking forward to sharing a booth with Big Pic Media, a long-standing partner of ours and industry-respected experts in media services, technology and software for post-production & broadcasting.

When it comes to audio processing in the UK Market, the demand for more efficiency in audio content delivery has never been higher, and with increasing complexity in delivery standards, solutions like our software’s Eff and Engine’s various modules (Immersive Audio, Loudness Compliance, Upmixing/Downmixing, Dolby Encoding/Decoding) have become more valuable than ever. Because of this MPTS is the perfect venue to further engage with the UK Market and discuss opportunities to help bring automated efficiencies to these companies' workflows.

If you want to chat with us about what our solutions can do for you, then stop by Big Pic Media’s booth H51 or click the link below and book a meeting/demo with us!

MPTS also acts as an avenue for us to engage with industry trends and innovations. Continuing from the NAB Show, the Immersive Mix Module is still of interest. This module allows content to be upmixed from stereo to surround and immersive mixes – or alternatively, downmix from immersive and surround formats to stereo. In turn, the module enables seamless transitions for commercials, promos, or even archive footage to be easily blended into a live broadcast mix.

Audio Description (AD) continues to be a popular topic of discussion, with many countries having legislated the percentage of programming that needs to be more accessible. Even in cases where it is not a legal requirement, the demand for content to be as accessible as possible continues to grow. With AD being very much in demand, it provides us with the opportunity to showcase our AD Module.

Lastly, a recurring trend we keep encountering is content verification. Many content distributors are manually identifying the audio attributes of a file, such as the source file audio structure, encoded audio types, and relevant language tags per audio stream, prior to ingest. Doing this manually is very time-consuming and a costly process. At MPTS, we will be showcasing our content verification technology, Examine; which allows automatic analysis and verification of the audio attributes within a file, removing the need for manual operation, freeing a skilled operator's time and saving in costs.

These various modules are part of the Emotion Systems’ Engine ecosystem, which is a scalable and extremely versatile solution which aids in managing audio normalisation, processing, and metadata of ingested files. Engine is designed to integrate with popular MAM products from leading vendors, or to work stand-alone on any operating system platform.

Trade shows will always provide us with the opportunity to discuss developments with existing and future customers. Continuing from NAB Show, cloud technology is still expanding rapidly, so we will again be highlighting our cloud strategy. Customers are still looking to migrate their own on-premises systems into the cloud and have a combination of on-prem, in the cloud or hybrid working environments.

Make sure to stop by Big Pic Media’s booth (H51) and we can go over what trends, innovations and solutions are relevant to you.

We look forward to meeting you all.
